Child Safety Standards

Like Minded, operated by Ethically Like Minded Private Limited, has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) in any form. This page describes the standards and measures we maintain to prevent, detect, and respond to CSAE on our Service, in line with Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy.

Who can use Like Minded

Like Minded is built for adults seeking dating or marriage connections. We do not permit anyone under 18 to register or use the Service. Every account requires a birth date at registration, and we enforce a hard minimum-age check against it — an application that does not clear this check cannot create an account. Accounts also require Google Sign-In, which ties each profile to a real, externally verified identity rather than an anonymous or disposable one.

Prevention and detection

• Age verification at registration, enforced server-side, not just as a form field a user can skip.
• Identity-defining profile details (name, birth information, gender, religion, mother tongue) are locked once registration is complete and cannot be altered afterward, reducing the ability to misrepresent who is behind a profile.
• Every profile can be reported in a single tap, for any reason, directly from the profile itself.
• Reports are reviewed by a member of our team, not resolved purely by automation. Reports are never silently dropped.
• We can suspend or permanently remove an account and its content — including profile photos, messages, and any other data — as soon as a violation is confirmed.

If you believe a profile, message, or any content on Like Minded involves or endangers a child, report it immediately using the in-app "Report this profile" option, or contact us directly:

We review every report of this nature as a priority, remove violating content and accounts, and cooperate with law enforcement and legally mandated reporting bodies where required by applicable law.
